Your path to Dutch, my passion to guide

Hey! I'm Maartje. Let me tell you my story.

I grew up in a small Dutch village surrounded by greenhouses, windmills, and the comforting smell of “stamppot” at dinnertime. In other words, I’m a true Dutchie at heart. Today, I live in the vibrant city of Rotterdam, one of the largest port cities in the world.

Here, I met people from all over the world, and I noticed something: many of them struggled to learn Dutch. From pronunciation to actually speaking in everyday situations, learning Dutch wasn’t easy.

When I looked around, I realized that many beginner resources, like e-books, simply don’t help with speaking and pronunciation. That inspired me to create something different: An approach that actually works, where you can learn Dutch in a simple and fun way, that fits your life.

I believe everyone can learn Dutch in their own way: where, when, and how it suits them. Learning doesn’t have to feel like heavy study sessions. You can learn while cooking, listening to music, drinking tea… just living your life. I create a space where you can take learning seriously, but always in a fun, practical, and enjoyable way.

It’s your Dutch journey, but know that I’m here to help you with a smile.
